Biography:
Rolf Agather is head of product and research for Morningstar Indexes. He is responsible for transforming Morningstar’s high quality data, independent research and technological expertise into compelling index products and managing them throughout their life cycle. Agather was previously managing director of U.S. research for global index provider FTSE Russell, part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). He joined LSEG in 2015 when it acquired Russell Investments. At FTSE Russell, Agather was responsible for developing new index concepts and publishing insightful research on capital markets, indexation and passive investment management. Prior to LSEG’s acquisition of Russell Investments, he was managing director of research and innovation for the Russell Index business within Russell Investments. Agather was instrumental in the creation of the Russell Global Indexes in 2007 and at the forefront of smart beta evolution with the development of alternatively weighted and factor indexes.

Jake Rapaport, CFA, is head of digital asset index research at Nasdaq. Biography:
Brett Winton joined ARK in February 2014 and has worked alongside Cathie for almost 15 years since their time at AllianceBernstein. He guides and manages the proprietary research of ARK’s investment team. The team recognizes that disruptive innovation demands a dynamic and universal approach. By researching across sectors, industries and markets, ARK’s investment team seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the convergence and market potential of disruptive innovations, and thus size investment opportunities more appropriately. Prior to ARK, Winton was a vice president and senior analyst on the Research on Strategic Change team at AllianceBernstein. In that role, he conducted thematic research, served on the thematic Portfolios Strategy committee under Cathie Wood’s stewardship and advised portfolio managers across asset classes. He also is the founder and principal at iamB Consulting, providing strategy consulting to early-stage startups. Winton has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT.

Marc Zeitoun, CFA, is chief operating officer for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Institutional businesses. As head of strategic beta, Zeitoun oversees the firm’s strategic beta platform, which currently includes its suite of ETFs. As head of the Private Client Advisory division, he oversees the firm’s High Net Worth Registered Investment Advisor and Private Bank distribution channels. Zeitoun joined one of Columbia Threadneedle’s legacy firms in 2013, where he served as Chief Product & Marketing Officer, ultimately responsible for its product, sales and marketing activities. Previously, Zeitoun was head of intermediary distribution for Guggenheim Investments and executive director for Investment Solutions (fee-based advisory platforms) at UBS. He has a B.A. in history from Vassar College and an M.A. in international business and finance from Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs.
