Biography:
Rolf Agather is head of product and research for Morningstar Indexes. He is responsible for transforming Morningstar’s high quality data, independent research and technological expertise into compelling index products and managing them throughout their life cycle. Agather was previously managing director of U.S. research for global index provider FTSE Russell, part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). He joined LSEG in 2015 when it acquired Russell Investments. At FTSE Russell, Agather was responsible for developing new index concepts and publishing insightful research on capital markets, indexation and passive investment management. Prior to LSEG’s acquisition of Russell Investments, he was managing director of research and innovation for the Russell Index business within Russell Investments. Agather was instrumental in the creation of the Russell Global Indexes in 2007 and at the forefront of smart beta evolution with the development of alternatively weighted and factor indexes.

Biography:
Catherine Yoshimoto joined FTSE Russell in 2010 and is responsible for product management of market-cap-weighted equity indexes, including the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS) and Russell US Indexes. She covers additional equity index products such as Style, Stability, Real Estate and Infrastructure index series. Yoshimoto has 20 years of financial services industry experience. Prior to joining FTSE Russell, she spent six years in product management and development roles at Franklin Templeton Investments, covering equity and fixed income fund products distributed globally. Yoshimoto earned three university degrees: an M.A. in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University; an M.S. in management from Notre Dame de Namur University; and a B.A. in political science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Biography:
Marc Zeitoun, CFA, is chief operating officer for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He is responsible for helping develop and implement North America operating principles, alignment and business execution across Columbia Threadneedle’s U.S. Intermediary and N.A. Institutional businesses. As head of strategic beta, Zeitoun oversees the firm’s strategic beta platform, which currently includes its suite of ETFs. As head of the Private Client Advisory division, he oversees the firm’s High Net Worth Registered Investment Advisor and Private Bank distribution channels. Zeitoun joined one of Columbia Threadneedle’s legacy firms in 2013, where he served as Chief Product & Marketing Officer, ultimately responsible for its product, sales and marketing activities. Previously, Zeitoun was head of intermediary distribution for Guggenheim Investments and executive director for Investment Solutions (fee-based advisory platforms) at UBS. He has a B.A. in history from Vassar College and an M.A. in international business and finance from Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs.
